This Is (Not) L.A. is a love letter to my hometown, dismantling 18 clichés about Los Angeles with facts, history, humor, and (lots of) love. I was fortunate to serve as the book’s primary writer, researcher, and editor. My co-author is the brilliant Jen Bilik, founder of Knock Knock.
Other stuff I have done at Knock Knock:
• Conceived bestselling What I Love about You journal. This fill-in-the-blank book has helped hundreds of thousands of people express their love for spouses, partners, friends, and family members. It has even been involved in marriage proposals. (I got the idea for this book from a gift from my boyfriend, so I feel he deserves at least half the credit for the idea.)
